Glimpses of Uganda email

Studio 12 presents a photographic exhibition by John Overmeyer from a very recent trip to Uganda.

He shared his time between a town called Masaka and a village school and medical clinic in Tekera, a small rural village.

John’s images shows a small glimpse of what life is like in a small part of Uganda.

Tuscan Textures

The October Studio 12 Art Crawl exhibition features images of fall Tuscan landscapes by Ruth and Martin Renters and guest photographer Alessandro Salvini from Volterra, Italy.

 

 

 

The bare, freshly ploughed fall fields reveal their beauty through unique textures, structures and lines which create unique almost monochrome geometric patterns with surprising variations.

Ivor Wynne Panorama and Studio 12 Recent Work

This month Studio 12 is presenting some recent work of its members. One of the highlights is a large 7′ by 32′ circular walk-in panorama print of an 1,840 megapixel image taken at midfield at Ivor Wynne Stadium. The stadium, built in 1928, is scheduled to be torn down to make way for a new stadium.

African Safari

A selection of images presented by John Overmeyer from his 18 day photo safari to Kenya and Tranzania this past February.  The collection of images include many large animals from hippos, elephants to lions and leopards.
