Images From June 2011 Art Crawl

The June Art Crawl at the Studio 12 Loft was a great success and many people got a quick lesson from African master drummer Amadou Kienou on how to play the djembe. The topic for June’s photo gallery was “Messages of the World” and images from all seven continents were showcased and featured work by Sol Algranti, Eric Bosch, Mary GIlmour, Todd Murray, John Overmeyer, Martin Renters and Ruth Renters.

The drumming lessons were so successful that Amadou agreed to offer a more extensive workshop. If you are interested in participating, please contact workshops@studio12.ca and let us know.
